From this moment forward, I will set out one day of each month to truly spoil myself, be good to myself, and feed my soul. The mantra of the day, will be “relax” and “refresh.
The more I think about it, the stronger I feel that everyone should be doing this. Life gets busy and it takes its toll: weekly planners become packed with, school, studies, work… Dates with friends are barely squeezed in, if even, and then what to say about time for YOURSELF? Time to Simply declutter your life and doing what truly makes you happy.
Such a day for me would entail reading, painting, attacking diy projects, binge watching series, of course a trip to the gym and let’s not forget – a couple of naps.
Of course I wouldn’t be able to do ALL the things I love in one day, and will therefore spread them out over the coming months.
I’ve decided, that with this, I will start a new series. A blogpost will be uploaded on how I spent this very special day each month, so that whenever I feel the need to be reminded of a good day, I’ll be able to reread the blogs.
